69% of CISOs and CIOs have been told to keep breaches confidential. Bryan Marlatt, a former CISO, resigned rather than downplay an incident on an SEC filing. Uber CISO Joe Sullivan was convicted for how he handled a breach.

That's the industry Red Mirror was built to change.

tell the story
Practitioners speaking directly to practitioners.

CISOs. Incident responders. Founders. Operators.

that changed everything
Events that reshaped how cybersecurity is practiced today.

Breaches. Calls. Turning points. Wins.

What leaders saw, what they weighed, and why they chose the path they did.

Danielle Lewan
CEO & Co-Founder
to everyone who chose this field,
Clint and I were making our first cybersecurity docuseries together when the investors told us to cut certain CISOs from the project. It was at that moment that I truly understood how corporate politics have engineered our perceptions instead of realities.

I had spent nearly a decade inside this industry by then. I came in as an investigative journalist, built three marketing departments from the inside of vendors, and interviewed more than 250 cybersecurity leaders along the way. Clint spent that same decade making films for HBO, Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime. We both came from worlds that train you to spot a managed narrative from a mile away.

When the investors told us to soften the stories, we knew the industry was in desperate need of an independent film studio. Red Mirror Studios exists because this industry's most powerful knowledge is sitting inside the careers of the people who lived it and nowhere else.

You built this field. It is time the field heard from you, warts and all.

Everyone else? Grab your popcorn.
